That is what first drew us to baroque pearls, but over time, they came to mean something more. We realised that we grow inside shapes given to us by the world — a career, an expectation, an idea of who we are supposed to be. For a while, those shapes fit. And then, sometimes, they don't.
FLOEA was born from a simple question: What if I don't have to remain in the shape life gave me?
For years, our founder followed a path that looked settled. A career chosen early, days that ran to a familiar rhythm, a way forward that seemed clear for years ahead. But beneath that certainty was a quiet desire to move, to create, and to discover what else she might become. She began to make room for something she had always loved — jewellery — and found herself drawn, again and again, to baroque pearls.
They carried a truth she was beginning to understand about her own life: There is more than one beautiful way to take shape.
Beauty Flows
At FLOEA, we don't believe beauty is static. A pearl is shaped first by nature — through water, time, and chance.
Then, we select it. We see something in its asymmetry and quiet lustre, and we frame it in 925 sterling silver, 18k gold-plated sterling silver and 14k gold fill — letting its own form lead the design.
But it isn't finished until it reaches you. Against your skin, it changes again. It flows as you move, becoming part of your daily rhythm and the person you are becoming.
Nature gives beauty its first form. We give it another. And you make it your own.

We spend so much of life being told what shape to take. But nature rarely creates in harsh, perfect lines — and neither does life.
We change our minds, leave things behind, and begin again. A baroque pearl never apologises for its shape. Neither should we.
